As of 8/30/2025, these are all the Safari Actions included in the iOS version of Apple’s Shortcuts.

I did my best to adjust descriptions for better uniformity, so most of these will read differently in Shortcuts itself.

Safari:

  • Add to Reading List: Adds input URLs to your reading list.
  • Filter Articles: Returns the articles that match the given criteria, from an input list of articles.
  • Get Article using Safari Reader: Reutrns article details from input URLs.
  • Get Contents of Web Page: Returns the contents of the input Safari web pages.
  • Get Details of Article: Returns a specific piece of information from the input articles.
  • Get Details of Safari Web Page: Reutrns a specific piece of information from the input Safari web pages.
  • Listen to Page: Asks Siri to read the article contents in Safari, if available.
  • Open URLs: Opens input URLs in default browser.
  • Run JavaScript on Web Page: Runs JavaScript on an input Safari web page.
  • Search Web: Searches the web for the input text.
  • Show Web View: Displays the input URL in a Safari View Controller.
  • Bookmarks:
    • Find Bookmarks
    • Open Bookmark: Opens the selected Bookmark.
  • Focus:
    • Set Safari Focus Filter: Sets the behavior of Safari for a specified Focus.
  • Reading List:
    • Find Reading List Items
    • Open Reading List Item: Opens the selected Reading List item.
  • Safari:
    • Open View: Opens the view in Safari.
  • Safari Reader:
    • Show/Hide Reader in Safari: Changes Reader Mode.
  • Settings:
    • Change Safari Settings: Sets the state of the selected setting.
    • Get Safari Settings: Returns the current state of the selected setting.
  • Tab Groups:
    • Create Tab Group: Creates an empty Tab Group.
    • Find Tab Groups
    • Open Tab Group: Opens the selected Tab Group.
  • Tabs:
    • Close Tab: Closes the selected tab.
    • Create New Private Tab: Opens a new tab in the Private Tab Group.
    • Create New Tab: Opens a new tab in the current Tab Group.
    • Find Tabs
    • Switch Tab: Switch to an existing tab.

Conclusion

You can view all of this yourself directly in shortcuts, by tapping on the information icon on the right end of each action in the gallery, or by tapping the icon on the left end of each action, and selecting Show Info from the menu that pops up.
